Employee’s Skills Finder
When a company starts growing, it can become be tricky to find relevant people with specific skills. We built an experiment using Voiceflow to solve exactly this problem.
Description
Imagine you just need to prepare a proposal for a prospect. In order to make it easier for the customer to understand a few data points you’ve gathered, you’d like to showcase a few advanced graphs.
There’s no formal “Data” team in place, so you don’t know who in your organization could help you tackle your “data visualization” challenge.
Using Voiceflow, we’ve set up an agent that identifies the right employee that fits your needs.
The most scalable and effective way to connect agents to your custom data is to use an API (application programming interface - essentially what software applications use to talk to each other).
Voiceflow is one of the best agent creation tools to do this. It provides an API specifically designed to let you send and retrieve any data you want to the knowledge base (what LLMs query to get responses).
In the demo below, we’ve built a prototype where:
- The agent processes the query from the user.
- It searches the knowledge base for employees experienced in any skill you type.
- Responds back to the user with the relevant contact details (including the employee’s picture).
- Offers a CTA (call to action) to help you directly contact the person via email.
Potential
The prototype we’ve built works with people, but it could also work with any data you have in your internal/external docs (think sales decks, client implementations, customer insights, etc.).
In this case, the agent is accessible via a stand-alone interface provided by Voiceflow. You could embed this interface in any website in just a few minutes. If you prefer, you could easily deploy the agent right in your Slack or Teams channel.
