Helping iCommers validate a shopping concierge

After iCommers tried a first approach resulting in low adoption and engagement, Agent Studio helped iCommers revamp their mobile app with an automated concierge powered by LLMs.

Client

iCommers sells around 400.000 product references across more than 30 ecommerce sites. Featuring a nimble tech team, the company has been profitable since it was founded in 2004. It specializes in industrial products (containers, cranes, deposits…).

Objective

Validate with a small batch of customers if the concierge idea had some legs.

Work

Our work during these 3 months included:

• Testing the concept via a quick prototype using Chatbase
• Building the architecture of the agent using LangChain
• Coaching iCommers’ developers to help them understand how the LangChain agent worked
• Co-defining with David (iCommers CEO) how to pilot the product with the first batch of clients
• Guiding the process from a product perspective

Results

Our work during these 3 months helped iCommers:

• Validate technical feasibility.
• Quickly build the 1st version of the product.
• Validate first batch of technical choices in terms of prompts and LLMs usage.

Conclusion

In just 3 months, iCommers managed to launch a new version of their sales assistant and test it successfully with the first early adopters.
